SEWP Overview

The focus of SEWP is on the full suite of technology offerings that simplify Governmental access and Industry offerings across the entire Information Technology, Communication and AV (ITC/AV) solutions and services landscape. SEWP VI is composed of 3 categories. From a product solutions-based perspective, Category A will consist of the full range of ITC/AV Solutions such as hardware and software products, including cloud-based solutions, installation, integration, testing, training, maintenance, and other product-based services.

Category A – ITC/AV Solutions

NAICS 541519 – IT Value Added Reseller

This Category represents a broad suite of ITC/AV solutions, i.e., technology in which there is an intertwining of products, such as a laptop, and services, such as maintenance and installation, requirements. Each technology area includes specific technology sub-areas; however, offerings shall not be limited to those specific sub-areas. The listed sub-areas are not exclusive to all applicable ITC/AV solutions. The scope of Category A is the full breadth and depth of ITC/AV technology under each technical area and therefore all similar and related technologies are within scope of this Category.

Note that requirements and offerings at the order level may combine elements across multiple Technical Areas. For example, elements of the main categories of AV, security and networking can be combined to provide all-in-one solutions. The combination of security and AV technology, for example, allows for security and command and control systems such as video security systems. Networking, communication, and AV combine for Videoconferencing solutions.

The NAICS 541519 services requirements are amortized at the contract level and not the individual order level.

Fair Opportunity Clause

FAR 16.505(b)(1) provides that each contractor shall be given Fair Opportunity to be considered for each order exceeding the micro-purchase limit, typically under $10,000, and issued under multiple award contracts. At a minimum, to provide Fair Opportunity, all Contract Holders within any one of the individually competed Contract Groups or selected set-aside must be provided Opportunity. The SEWP online Quote Request Tool is the recommended method to assist in this activity and to augment the required decision documentation.
